If you’re looking for fresh produce right from the farm, Kula Country Farms is just the place to go. Located past mile marker 13 on the Kula Highway, across from Rice Park, this little farm stand offers a great assortment of fruits and vegetables.
The farm stand itself opened in the spring of 2008, but its owners, the Monden family, have been farming the land for four generations. If you’re lucky, you might run into Chauncy running around on the grounds, or his sister Meridyth Sealey behind the register. If you do, say aloha!
Tip: bring cash. Everything in the stand is run by battery, so they don’t have a credit card machine.

We went to Kula Country Farm last fall and we had a blast with their pumpkin patch. I am pretty sure we’re heading back there again this summer to pick strawberries! – Another great family fun activity we can do on Maui.
Funny, after this past fall, we will make a tradition of picking pumpkins at Kula farms for Halloween. We have a great picture of my son (2 years old) with the goat and another one of him chasing a chicken. The staff was friendly and attentive, I would gladly recommend it to any visitors or residents alike.
I’m coming to Hawaii this July from Kentucky. I can’t wait to visit Kula Country Farm. I’m excited about picking fresh strawberries!
