The Ag Festival was fantastic! I photographed coffee growers Keokea Farms, Mauigrown Coffee, Maui Flower Growers’ Association, Hana Fresh, Hashimoto’s Persimmon Farm products, Maui Tropical Plantation gifts, Patticakes Bakery, Alii Kula Lavender, the amazing livestock, (Texas Longhorns), and then a beautiful Hula Show on center stage! The Hawaiian music was wonderful and a reminder of just where we are on the eautiful Hawaiian Island of Maui in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

I arrived in time to enjoy the last 30 minutes or so of the Chefs’ offerings. It was really quite special. So tasty and actually quite healthy for you. The setting for the overall event was really quite spectacular. I know this is the second year, but last year, the first year was rained out. Hope this becomes a regular event!

WOW! Thank you for posting these pictures. When will they develop scratch ‘n sniff through my computer screen? Next year, I hope to be sharing the delicious food with all of you. I spent the better part of Ag Festival in our booth in the education tent…sharing the good word of edible Hawaiian Islands magazine, equally important. It’s was a great day, perfect weather, lots of like minded people. We have come a long way in sharing and education visitors and kama’aina about local fresh Maui grown food, local ranchers, fishermen and food artisans. Keep up the excellent work. Aloha!
